    一本道 Search Process

    The 一本道 Bucks School 一本道 (一本道) Board of School Directors is pleased to provide the community with a status report regarding the recent announcement concerning the 一本道’s 一本道 of Schools.

     

    To begin the search process for a new 一本道, the Board reached out to the Bucks County Intermediate Unit (Bucks IU), our county’s regional educational service agency, to assist the Board with the search for a new 一本道. The Bucks County IU has assisted in many successful 一本道 searches for area school districts, and since 一本道 is a Bucks County School district, located in the service area of the Bucks IU, there is no fee for this service.

     

    As a part of the search process, the 一本道 Bucks Board of School Directors solicited feedback from students, staff, and community members using a survey to gather information on the traits, characteristics, and priorities stakeholders are seeking in their next 一本道. The survey results can be found here. 

     

    Applications for the position of 一本道 were accepted until Sunday March 24, 2024.  Applicants are now being screened to begin the interview process, with initial interviews of candidates to occur in April and May. The Board’s goal is to name a new 一本道 before June 30, 2024.

     

    The 一本道 School Directors will continue to provide periodic updates to the 一本道 Bucks community on the search process. A community forum, to introduce the new 一本道, will be arranged and announced once the final selection is completed.

    一本道 Search Process

     

    The 一本道 Bucks School 一本道 (一本道) Board of School Directors is pleased to provide the community with a status report regarding the recent announcement concerning the 一本道’s 一本道 of Schools.

     

    To begin the search process for a new 一本道, the Board has reached out to the Bucks County Intermediate Unit (Bucks IU), our county’s regional educational service agency, to assist the Board with the search for a new 一本道. The Bucks IU has assisted in many successful 一本道 searches for area school districts, and since 一本道 is a Bucks County School district, located in the service area of the Bucks IU, there is no fee for this service. It is understood that the Bucks IU will be reimbursed by 一本道 for any out-of-pocket advertising costs for the position posting. The Board approved an agreement with the Bucks IU to facilitate the search process at the February 13, 2024, meeting of the Board.

     

    As a part of the search process, the 一本道 Bucks Board of School Directors is soliciting feedback from students, staff, and community members using a survey to gather information on the traits, characteristics, and priorities stakeholders are seeking in their next 一本道. The survey is now open at and will remain open for feedback through 4:00 p.m. on Friday, March 8, 2024. A survey summary will be shared with the community shortly following the date it closes. 一本道 Bucks School 一本道 staff, students, and community members are encouraged to complete the survey and provide their feedback. The survey data will be used by the Board to help create interview questions and to aid in distinguishing candidates that meet the identified qualifications.

The position announcement will be distributed to a variety of social media sites and national, state, and regional publications including EdWeek, The School 一本道s Association (AASA), the Association of Educational Service Agencies (AESA), Penn*Link, Pennsylvania Association of School Administrators (PASA), Pennsylvania Association of School Business Officials (PASBO), Pennsylvania Association of School Personnel Administrators (PASPA), and the Pennsylvania Association of Intermediate Units (PAIU), as well as county and state email distribution lists and various job boards.  

     

    The job posting closes at 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, March 24, 2024, with initial interviews of candidates to occur in April and May. The Board’s goal is to name a new 一本道 before June 30, 2024.
