WELCOME TO FOURTH GRADE!I hope that you have been having an amazing summer! My family has spent a lot of time at the beach, surfing, swimming, playing sports, reading, and snuggling with our dog. Mr. Williams works in IT. My older son, Zach, will be in 11th grade this year. Owen will be a 8th grader in middle school. Milo is our 7 year old chocolate lab. When I am not teaching, I am generally on the sidelines loudly cheering on my boys at soccer and swimming.
School starts in a few short weeks. I am so excited to be your teacher this year! Get ready to learn, grow, and have a successful year. I have already started to plan new lessons and activities for the upcoming school year. I'm looking forward to a fun-filled year of thinking and learning. If you haven't done any summer reading, you still have time to read at least one book to share on the first few days of school. Be sure to check the supply list for our class for 4th grade this year.
On the first day, please bring: your labelled supplies, a healthy, peanut-free snack, a cold water bottle, lunch/lunch money, a good book to read, a smile, and a positive attitude!
Enjoy your last weeks of summer! I am excited to meet you on the first day and start a fantastic fourth grade year together!
